    Mina Mina Jukurrpa Ngalyipi (meaning Mina Mina Dreaming) This Dreaming comes from Mina Mina, a very important women’s Dreaming site far to the west of Yuendumu near Lake Mackay and the Western Australian border. In the Dreamtime, ancestral women danced at Mina Mina and digging sticks rose up out of the ground. The women collected the digging sticks and then travelled on to the east, dancing, digging for bush tucker, collecting snake vine and creating many places as they went. This Jukurrpa or Dreaming story tells of the journey of a group of women who travelled far to the east gathering food, ngalyipi and performing ceremonies as they travelled. Ngalyipi is a sacred vine used as a ceremonial wrap, as a strap to carry parrajas (wooden bowls) and as a tourniquet for headaches.     Water Dreaming Two Jangala rainmakers unleashed a giant storm travelling with a pamapardu Jukurrpa (termite Dreaming) to a waterhole where a gecko called Yumariyumari blew the storm on to Lapurrukurra and Wilpiri. Bolts of lightning shot out. The kurdukurdu mangkurdu Jukurrpa (children of the clouds Dreaming) created hills at Ngamangama using baby clouds and stuck long pointy clouds into the ground at Jukajuka where they can still be seen today as rock formations.
