Puli (meaning rock stack memorial)

While travelling throughout Central Australia many visitors notice stacks of rocks along the side of the road, especially on the rough unsealed sections in remote areas. This work depicts a tradition among Keturah's people whereby a stack of rocks will be precariously balanced, one on top of the other, in a particular location. This more often than not occurs to create a 'memory' of that moment in time.
